I have been using futons as my primary bed for years to save space. This is by far the best futon I have ever used. The quality and sturdiness are outstanding. Coupled with a very high quality mattress, this is as good or better than any queen sized bed I have ever slept on. The way it folds up and down is SO EASY!!! Your grandmother can do it. The construction is so sturdy that the mattress might as well be on a concrete slab, meaning that there are no low spots or center sags or edge drooping. Totally flat and evenly supportive across the whole mattress. And not having to move a huge piece like this to fold it up and down is the only way to go. It is a little challenging to assemble. If you are not good with tools and assembly in general, find someone who is and let them do it. I’ll never own a standard queen sized bed again now that I can get a queen sized futon of this quality. Also, I write web content for a living. Of all the top web based futon companies, Affordable Futons has the best user interface and the best product descriptions. And after checking pricing, theirs was the best in that area too, by far.
